| The City of Lambertville offers several types of parking permits as follows:
Residential Parking Permits
Residential Parking Permits are available for residents who reside on a City street with no available off street parking and a meter in front of their home and have no driveway. The eligible streets are - Union Street between York Street and Ferry Street
- Coryell Street between Main Street and Lambert Lane
- Church Street between Main Street and Union Street
- Lambert Lane
- Main Street between York Street and Ferry Street
- Bridge Street between Main Street and Lambert Lane
- Klines Court
- Ferry Street between Main Street and Klines Court
- The permit issued is only valid on the street for which it was issued and no other City streets or parking lots. The annual fee is $30.
Click here for the application for a residential parking permit. Please submit a completed application, along with proof of residency, check made payable to the City of Lambertville in the amount of $30 along with a self addressed stamped envelope.
The following is acceptable proof of residency:
- A valid, current New Jersey driver’s license; or
- A valid New Jersey motor vehicle registration for the vehicle for which the permit is sought;
- Lease or deed for the residence.
Please note that the permit is valid for one year from January 1st to December 15th and the fee is not prorated. The permit is non transferable and does not waive compliance with other parking rules or ordinances including, but not limited to, the sweeper and snow removal. City Hall Parking Lot – 11 York Street
There are eight parking spaces available for residents to rent for a monthly fee of $40.00. If the fee is not paid by the 10th of the month there is a $5.00 late fee. If the fee is not paid by the 20t of the month, the permit shall be null and void and available for issuance to another resident. At this time there is a waiting list for the parking spaces. Please call Clerks Office at 397-0110 or e-mail cityclerk@lambertvillenj.org to have your name placed on the waiting list. Permits are issued on a first come first serve basis.
Franklin Street Parking Lot
The parking area located at the southwest intersection of North Franklin Street and Church Street is a permit parking lot between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. There are ten parking spaces available for rent for a monthly fee of $40.00. If the fee is not paid by the 10th of the month there is a $5.00 late fee. If the fee is not paid by the 20th of the month, the permit shall be null and void and available for issuance to another resident. At this time there is a waiting list for the parking spaces. Justice Center Parking Lot – 25 South Union Street
There are thirty seven (37) parking spaces available for rent for a monthly fee of $45.00. If the fee is not paid by the 10th of the month there is a $5.00 late fee. If the fee is not paid by the 20th of the month, the permit shall be null and void and available for issuance to another resident. At this time there is a waiting list for the parking spaces.
