CONSTRUCTION ON TOW PATH: Mayor DelVecchio will host a meeting with the New Jersey Water Authority and residents on Tuesday, September 16 at 6 PM at the Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center located at 25 South Union Street in Lambertville to discuss the construction work on the canal by Lilly's. All are welcome to attend.

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE: The Director of Public Assistance will be away on vacation beginning September 12th through to September 23rd.

DRJTBC NOTICE: The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission will have off-peak and overnight travel restrictions on the New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge during the week of September 15. This will allow engineers and consultants to assess different kinds of electronic sensors to could be used to assess the bridge's long-term structural health and to gain a better understanding of how overweight/oversized vehicles affect the agency's aging weight-restricted crossings. Cottage Hill: Top Line Construction has completed the resurfacing of the roads on Cottage Hill. They will come back to upgrade the speed humps. 

North Union Street Phase III: A-Team Construction will begin on Tuesday, September 3rd at York and North Union Street. They will progress down North Union Street to Delaware Avenue doing the curbing and sidewalks first and then the milling and paving. The schedule is as follows, weather permitting:


 Sept 2-5

Mobilize, place temporary signage, install Inlets and piping at York Street



Sept 8-12

Remove and replace curb / sidewalk from York Street to Delavan Street.

Remove 15” Tree at 22 Delavan Street



Sept 15-19

Remove and replace curb / sidewalk from Delavan Street to Jefferson Street.



Sept 22-26

Remove and replace curb / sidewalk from Jefferson Street to Delaware Avenue.



Sept 29-Oct 3

Mill & Pave From York Street to Delaware Avenue, Install speed humps, crosswalks, tree planting, cleanup.
