ALERT from SUEZ

September 5, 2021 Press Release from SUEZ

SUEZ LIFTS BOIL WATER ADVISORY FOR CUSTOMERS IN LAMBERTVILLE.  WATER QUALITY TESTS MEET ALL REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

SUEZ crews completed repairs to a main break in Lambertville and water pressure has returned to normal in the area.

It is no longer necessary for SUEZ customers in Lambertville and a portion of West Amwell to boil their water for cooking and drinking.

Following the water main repair, SUEZ collected water samples throughout the distribution system, and the test results showed that the drinking water quality meets all regulatory requirements.

The water test results were submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) for verification. Upon review of the laboratory data, the NJDEP has confirmed that it is no longer necessary for SUEZ customers to boil their water.

The following measures are recommended at this time:

  • Run water faucets for 3 to 5 minutes to flush the service connection and interior plumbing.
  • Empty and clean automatic ice makers and water chillers.
  • Drain and refill hot water heaters if the temperature is set below 113 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Run water softener/cartridge filters through a regeneration cycle or the procedures recommended by the product manufacturer.

If you are experiencing any issues with your water pressure or if you notice discoloration of your water output, please contact SUEZ at the number below.

For additional information, please contact customer service at 877-565-1456 or visit the SUEZ website at www.mysuezwater.com or social media channels, SUEZWaterSouthJersey and @SUEZWaterSJ.

SUEZ thanks its customers for their patience, understanding, and our thoughts are with you and your families affected by the tropical storm.
