On Saturday, June 05, 2021, at approximately 2258 hours, DET Albani was detailed to the Laundry Room of Lambertville at 47 North Main Street for a report of smoke coming from the building.  DET Albani cleared the building and ensured there was no one inside.  A short while later, the top of the building was engulfed in flames. Firefighters from the Lambertville Fire Department as well as other fire companies from Hunterdon and Bucks County worked to extinguish the flames.  DET Bast of the Lambertville Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutors Office are investigating.  There were no reported injuries at the time.

ALL SUSPECTS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
