Ringoes Man Arrested for Criminal Sexual Contact

Lambertville City Police Department, Lt. Robert Brown, reported today that a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office’s Special Victims Unit and the Lambertville City Police Department has led to the arrest of one individual on July 8, 2022.

Wayne S. Stangil Jr., 23, of Ringoes, was charged with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.  On May 31, 2022, Stangil engaged in criminal sexual contact with a juvenile victim he knew and who was thirteen years old in the City of Lambertville.

Despite having been charged, every defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
