On Sunday, January 29, 2023, at approximately 12:38am, Jessica A. Bowes, 39 years old from Washington Street in Phillipsburg, NJ was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, unregistered vehicle, unlicensed driver and possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage.  Bowes was released with a court date of February 08, 2023. Patrolman Bereheiko is the arresting officer.

On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 4:32pm, patrol was detailed to the D & R canal tow path near Alexauken Creek for a report of criminal mischief on the newly constructed walk bridge. Several messages were found written in black marker throughout the wooden bridge. The NJ State Park Police along with Patrolman Brown of this agency are investigating.
