Equipped to withstand, adapt, and thrive when faced with adversity. 

Resilience begins with the individual. Do you have flood insurance? Do you have a plan to communicate with your family in the event of an emergency? Do you know how or when to shut off the power? Will you raise your mechanicals before the next event.? Are you using more water than you need? Have you read the NJDEP’s Climate Change Resiliency Strategy or the 2020 NJ Climate Change Report? Have you signed up for SWIFT911 to receive emergency texts and voicemails from the City? Just how prepared are you? I challenge every resident to ask, and answer, the following question: What is one thing I can do now to make recovery from the next event less difficult?
