COUNSELOR, SUMMER CAMP RECREATION PROGRAM:  The City of Lambertville’s Parks & Recreation Commission will accept applications for the position of counselor through Thursday, February 24, 2022. Summer Camp Counselors are required to instruct, lead and actively supervise a variety of age appropriate activities for children entering grades one through six. Counselors are responsible for the direct supervision and wellbeing of the participants while communicating and enforcing program rules and expectations in a team environment.  Summer Camp counselor applicants are required to be at least 18 years of age, hold current first aid / CPR certification and have a high school diploma. Teaching and/or coaching experience is preferred. DIRECTOR SUMMER CAMP RECREATION PROGRAM: The City of Lambertville’s Parks & Recreation Commission will accept applications for the position of Director of the Summer Recreation Program through Wednesday, February 24, 2022. The Director of the Summer Recreation Program is responsible for organizing the daily programs, assisting with hiring the counselors, substituting for counselors and ensuring that all counselors are trained in the various programs as required by the City of Lambertville. They are responsible for the organizational and administrative aspects of the program, including but not limited to maintaining camper registration, check in and out, and  associated forms (waivers, permissions, covid compliance etc). The Director is responsible for communication with campers’ parents or guardian in case of inclement weather cancellations.  The Director of the Summer Recreation Program must be 21 years of age, hold current first aid /CPR certification and have teaching and/or coaching experience.
